John graduated from University of Minnesota Medical School and is currently completing his residency in psychiatry, also at the University of Minnesota. Prior to medical school, John completed undergraduate and graduate degrees at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where his PhD explored the molecular biology of stem cells. His interests currently center on management of difficult to treat mental illnesses. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his family.
