Dariush graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Psychology with a minor in Integrative Neuroscience.
Dari has always been interested in psychology, psychiatry, and neuroscience and has become particularly interested in neurodegenerative diseases while working as a resident assistant at a memory care facility in SE Minneapolis and treatment resistant disorders and interventions as a student researcher at the RISE Lab.
Through his academic journey, he hopes to be able to gain the skills necessary for a professional life dedicated to helping to ease and/or eliminate suffering for those who struggle with difficult mental conditions.
Dari loves music and enjoys collecting records as well as playing guitar and piano. He also loves to travel and learn about other cultures and hopes that he will get to visit his father’s home country of Iran someday.
